Boulsa, A ceremony marking the day of homage to the martyrs of the popular insurrection of October 30 and 31, 2014, was chaired by the High Commissioner of the province, Conseiga Adama, on October 31, 2023, at the Boulsa aerodrome.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the ceremony involved a minute of silence to remember the martyrs. Officials from the province’s fighting forces, directors and heads of departments, and leaders of civil society organizations were in attendance. The head of Canton of Boulsa, Naba Sonré de Boulsa, also paid tribute to the memory of the deceased. The ceremony aimed for sobriety, given the challenging security situation in Namentenga and the commune of Boulsa.
