Namentenga: The citizen watch of Boko, a village in the commune of Dargo, located in the province of Namentenga (Centre-North), inaugurated its roundabout called “Ibrahim Traor©”. The event took place on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the intersection of the Boulsa-Dargo and Lillougou et-Boko roads.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the construction of the roundabout was made possible through contributions from the local population. It is intended to serve as a framework for consultation, social mobilization, and awareness-raising. The president of the citizen watch, Hassane Barry, emphasized the significance of the project and commended the efforts of the fighting forces on the ground. He also urged the community to remain vigilant and collaborate with the Defense and Security Forces to achieve victory over adversarial forces.
Inside the roundabout, there is a monument featuring a caiman, the village totem, alongside the effigies of the three heads of state of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES). Representatives from the village development commissions conveyed their wishes for health, success, and longevity to the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, and to the fighting forces, envisioning a prosperous future for Burkina Faso.
