Nakambe: The Regional Directorate of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism (DRCCAT) of Nakambe organized a collective breaking of the fast in Tenkodogo, bringing together administrative authorities, constituted bodies, and heads of services. The ceremony, presided over by the Secretary General of the Boulgou province, Lalle Siaka Yao, alongside the Regional Director of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism of Nakambe, Yacouba Diakite, was marked by messages of fraternity and prayers for peace in the region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the event was organized in a spirit of conviviality and sharing, aiming to gather administration workers and stakeholders from the region in a moment of communion. The initiative sought to create an environment conducive to fraternal exchanges between managers and their collaborators, moving beyond the professional framework.
The gathering allowed participants to dismantle hierarchical barriers and strengthen human relationships between public administration actors and regional partners. For those involved, such initiatives are crucial in consolidating the spirit of solidarity and collaboration necessary for the effective functioning of public services, especially in a setting where national unity and social cohesion are priorities.
This collective breaking of the fast also served as a symbol of tolerance and interreligious dialogue. Muslims, Christians, and followers of traditional religions were invited to participate, highlighting the religious diversity of the Nakambe region. Participants expressed wishes for peace, stability, and unity for the region and the broader Burkina Faso.
Officials emphasized that all religions promote love for neighbors, solidarity, and peace, essential values for enhancing social cohesion and supporting efforts to restore stability in the country. The meeting was an opportunity to encourage people to leverage religions as a tool for reconciliation and fraternity in service of the nation.
Through this initiative, the Nakambe Regional Directorate of Communication, Culture, Arts, and Tourism aims to promote dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among various segments of society. Participants expressed hope that such forums would become more common to further strengthen unity and peace in the region and across Burkina Faso.
