Nahouri: Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) in Nahouri province received, this Thursday, May 15, 2025, 30 bags of rice of 25 kg and a financial envelope worth more than 250,000 CFA francs. The donation was presented during the ceremony of the second edition of the day of customs and traditions of residents.
According to Burkina Information Agency, 30 bags of rice weighing 25 kg and a financial envelope of more than 250,000 CFA francs were handed over this Thursday, May 15, 2025, to the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) of Nahouri.
“We are pleased with the work of reconquering the national territory carried out by our valiant FDS and VDP and this is a way for us to recognize their sacrifice by showing their gratitude,” said Samuel Tahoura, CEO of Tahoura Multi-Services and promoter of the 2nd edition of the day of customs and traditions in Nahouri.
The donation was received by the Governor of the Centre-South region, Massalado Yvette Nacoulma/Sanou and handed over to the provincial coordinator of the VDP, represented by Warrant Officer Akohoudjie Kora.
