Nahouri Teachers Begin Annual Educational Training Days

PÔ – On Tuesday, teachers across post-primary, secondary, and technical vocational disciplines in Nahouri province commenced their annual pedagogical days, focusing on the skills/pedagogy integration approach. This event, hosted in Pô, aims to bolster the professional capabilities of educators.



According to Burkina Information Agency, Sanfiénalé Joseph Sirima, the Secretary General of Nahouri Province, inaugurated the four-day session, emphasizing the ministry’s commitment to educational reforms designed to enhance the quality of education and improve employability skills for students. Sirima underscored the importance of adopting the new curricula through open and productive dialogues among educators.



The sessions began with a moment of silence to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, setting a solemn tone for the proceedings. Yonli/Tapsoba Noélie, the provincial director of secondary education, reported that the training was proceeding smoothly and expressed optimism about the positive impact of the training on teaching standards.



Nahouri is home to approximately 450 teachers who serve in its 47 educational institutions, which include both public and private schools, and 03 technical training centers.
