Held at the N©maro square in P´, the event brought together daughters, sons, and friends of Nahouri in a friendly atmosphere that emphasized cultural values and social unity through music and interaction.
The festival aimed to place the youth of Nahouri at the center of efforts to strengthen social cohesion and unity in Burkina Faso. Participants included festival-goers, artists, artistic groups, comedians, and exhibitors from Burkina, Ghana, and Ivory Coast, who engaged in traditional sports, Maracana, p©tanque, and musical performances on a dedicated stage.
Highlighting the event were performances by around fifty local, national, and international artists, including Floby, Nourat, Dez Altino, Amzy, Greg, Dj Domi, Acha Trembl©, Awetou, and Kayabu. These artists competed in a spirit of fraternity, offering breathtaking demonstrations of their talents.
Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam, the High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, attended the festival and praised the enthusiastic participation of Nahouri’s youth. He recognized them as a vital force and strategic asset for the future of Burkina Faso, underscoring the strong message of unity and commitment to social cohesion being broadcast to the world.
Damien Anaou¨ Copia, the festival’s promoter, expressed satisfaction with the successful execution of the event. He highlighted the rich tradition of solidarity and shared values within the province, emphasizing the need to extend these ideals into all facets of life, including neighborhoods, villages, social media, and civic engagements.
Copia also noted the significant involvement of the population and traditional notables, which demonstrated a collective commitment to promoting peace and unity. He concluded by looking forward to continuing this tradition with the third edition of the festival next year.
