Nahouri: The new provincial director of Water and Forests of Nahouri, Commander Daouda Traor©, emphasized the importance of result-oriented culture, diligence, and teamwork during his installation ceremony in P´. The ceremony, held on March 18, 2025, was attended by the secretary general of the province of Nahouri, Emile Hien.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Commander Daouda Traor© was appointed as the Provincial Director of Water and Forests of Nahouri by the Council of Ministers on March 5, 2025. His official takeover of the department was marked by the presence of regional directors and heads of provincial services. In his address, Traor© expressed gratitude to his superiors for their trust and acknowledged the significant challenges he faces in his new role.
Commander Traor© stated his commitment to fostering a work environment focused on results, diligence, and integrity. He highlighted his ambition to improve the health of the province’s environment across its human, physical, and biological components. Traor©, along with his team, pledged to collaborate with other forces to preserve, restore, and secure the national territory by implementing the Ministry of the Environment’s policies.
The outgoing director, Jean Bosco Zongo, expressed appreciation for the support received from stakeholders during his tenure, which helped the management overcome challenges.
