PÔ—Sanfiénalé Joseph Sirima, the Secretary General of Nahouri Province, inaugurated a three-day entrepreneurship training in Pô, aimed at fostering community and agro-pastoral entrepreneurship among young people in the region. The event, organized by Terre Africaine, highlighted the importance of collaborative and sustainable development.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the 72 hours of young entrepreneurs of Nahouri, held from September 5 to 7, 2024, drew over 100 participants. The event was structured around the theme "Community entrepreneurship and participatory development," offering a variety of sessions on leadership, agro-pastoral entrepreneurship, and community involvement. Additionally, it addressed pressing social issues such as drug use, adulterated alcohol, and delinquency.

Daniel Assaguipiou Abongté, CEO of Terre Africaine and national president of the association of young entrepreneurs of Burkina, stated that the program is designed to prepare the youth to tackle the challenges of food self-sufficiency and to provide them with the tools necessary for a successful entrepreneurial career.

Sanfiénalé Joseph Sirima urged the attendees to fully engage with the training materials and to embrace teamwork over individualism. He emphasized the importance of taking calculated risks and working collectively towards common goals.

The event, sponsored by notable figures such as Moussa Koné, president of the National Chamber of Agriculture of Burkina, and supported by Jacob Ouédraogo and Estelle Koita, former regional dignitaries, concluded with the participants equipped to navigate the complexities of the working world and to contribute positively to their communities.
