Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner of the province of Nahouri, Si Aristide Mohamed Kam, initiated the mandatory patriotic immersion session of 2026 at the provincial high school of P´, engaging 746 baccalaureate holders in this year's edition.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the launch ceremony featured entertainment by the conscripts, a message from the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor, blessings from local authorities, and remarks from Si Aristide Mohamed Kam. The President urged the new graduates to become integrated, patriotic citizens, resist disinformation, and set an example for the nation.
The High Commissioner encouraged the participants to fully embrace the 30-day immersion, emphasizing the importance of adopting patriotic values. "The message from the head of state is clear: you should sleep and wake up with it," Kam reiterated.
He also called on trainers to put forth their best efforts and urged the community to support the provincial committee for the successful execution of the program. The event concluded with a symbolic planting of around ten plants.
