Nahouri High Commissioner Praises Religious Authorities for Continued Support

Nahouri: The High Commissioner welcomes the support of religious authorities during the year 2025. The High Commissioner of the Nahouri Province, Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam, accompanied by the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the P´ municipality, visited the religious authorities of Nahouri on Saturday, January 17, 2026. They expressed their gratitude for the support and prayers that the provincial and municipal administration received during 2025.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit by provincial and municipal authorities aimed to thank the religious communities of Nahouri for their support and prayers throughout 2025. The High Commissioner and the PDS expressed their appreciation to multiple religious groups, including the Sunni movement, the provincial office of the Muslim community, and the Federation of Evangelical Churches and Missions (FEME).

"We have come to thank you for the excellent relations we have maintained. We continue to ask for your prayers and blessings so that Burkina Faso may regain its territorial integrity," stated the High Commissioner of Nahouri Province, Si© Aristide Mohamed Kam. This gesture of gratitude underscored the importance of the collaboration between the authorities and religious communities in maintaining peace and social harmony in the region.

In response, each religious community expressed its commitment to continue supporting the authorities through prayers and mobilizing efforts for peace in Burkina Faso. They pledged to support ongoing initiatives in the province by raising awareness among the faithful about fostering community spirit, social cohesion, and aiding vulnerable populations.

At the conclusion of the visits, prayers were offered for the authorities of Burkina Faso, with hopes of granting them the strength needed to steer the nation's path toward prosperity and stability.
