Nahouri: The governor of the Nazinon region, Yvette Nakoulma/Sanou, visited participants in a mining equipment operation training program in Nahouri province. She was accompanied by the Nazinon regional director of youth and employment, Jacob Sia, the secretary general of Nahouri province, Emile Hien, and the president of the special delegation of the Po commune, Iliassa Dianda.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the governor emphasized the importance of this training program, encouraging participants and instructors to persevere for the benefit of the region's youth. She highlighted how the training would help young people secure stable employment, benefiting their families and the nation.
Participants' representative, Sylvain A. Nassara, expressed gratitude to the government for the initiative, which will equip them with skills and certifications in mining equipment operation, enhancing their job prospects. He also appealed for support with internships and job placements post-training.
The Nazinon region was allocated 200 training slots by the Ministry of Sports, Youth, and Employment, with 40 designated for Nahouri. The training, lasting three months, combines theoretical and practical elements and is conducted by Kisito Adah of Koss Wende Moto and Driving School in Po.
