Nahouri: The members of the special delegation of the urban commune of Nahouri convened on Monday, November 11, 2024, for their fourth ordinary session of the year. During the session, they adopted the initial budget for 2025, set at 282,106,354 CFA francs. The meeting was chaired by Ilassa Dianda, the president of the special delegation.
According to Burkina Information Agency, during the session, Mr. Dianda encouraged the members to engage in open and productive discussions to address the challenges anticipated in 2025. He emphasized the need for collaboration and commitment from all stakeholders. Additionally, he urged participants to consider the efforts of those fighting to reclaim the national territory.
The 2025 budget is balanced in both revenue and expenditure, with 268,593,788 CFA francs allocated for operations and 63,462,566 CFA francs designated for investments. This represents a decrease compared to the 2024 budget, which was 359,085,955 CFA francs. The head of the municipality attributed this
reduction to the non-transfer of resources earmarked for education.
The budget received unanimous approval from the 18 members of the special delegation present, enabling the president to defend it before the regional technical commission. To bolster revenues, the president urged members and stakeholders to actively participate in resource mobilization by raising public awareness.
In addition to the budget, the delegation examined and adopted deliberations concerning financial and administrative matters. Mr. Dianda commended the team spirit that characterized the session and acknowledged the technical services’ daily support for the special delegation. The delegation members pledged to promote taxpayer awareness about civic participation, aiming to establish the municipality as a resilient and exemplary model.
