PÔ – On Monday, May 20, 2024, athletes from Nahouri province displayed their impressive collection of trophies at the municipal stadium of Pô, following their successful participation in the regional phases of the Union of School and University Sports of Burkina Faso (USSU-BF) held on May 18 and 19, 2024 in Manga.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the provincial director of post-primary and secondary education, the athletes’ outstanding performance, resulting in 15 trophies out of 17 contested, is attributed to rigorous preparation and adherence to coaching guidelines. The ceremony, chaired by High Commissioner Auguste Kinda, celebrated the athletes’ achievements and marked a notable resurgence in sports activities in the province, following a previous season where Nahouri athletes also dominated the regional competitions.
