Myanmar Hosts Science Festival to Foster Scientific Knowledge in Nay Pyi Taw

Nay pyi taw: Myanmar's Ministry of Science and Technology launched the Science Festival Myanmar 2025 in the capital Nay Pyi Taw, as reported by the state-owned daily The Mirror on Tuesday. Union Minister for Science and Technology Myo Thein Kyaw was present at the opening ceremony.

According to Namibia Press Agency, organizing the science festival aims to broaden scientific knowledge among students and professionals, foster greater interest in science, and inspire curiosity among young people. The festival is also expected to support the development of the country's science and nuclear energy sectors.

The two-day event, held on Monday and Tuesday, included a knowledge-sharing session titled "Nuclear Technology in Everyday Life" and quiz competitions on nuclear technology for basic education students.
