Myanmar: Myanmar commenced the 60th ASEAN Transport Officials Meeting along with related meetings in a hybrid format in Nay Pyi Taw, as reported by the state-owned daily Myanma Alinn on Tuesday.
According to Namibia Press Agency, Myanmar's Union Minister for Transport and Communications, U Mya Tun Oo, addressed the event, expressing Myanmar's honor in hosting the meetings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). He acknowledged the cooperation and commitment of ASEAN countries and dialogue partners in fostering innovation and capacity building for the ASEAN region's transport sector.
The meeting, which is scheduled from November 17 to 19, sees participation from senior officials of ASEAN member states and dialogue partners, including China, Japan, South Korea, and the European Union.
