Poni: Musician Lilika donated half a ton of cement to the Faso Mªbo Agency in Gaoua on Saturday, a gesture of solidarity aimed at supporting community actions for local development and responding to the call of the President of Faso for national construction. The donation was received by the chairman of the Faso Mªbo reception committee, Siaka Ouattara, in the presence of members of the organization.

According to Burkina Information Agency, accompanied by her technical staff, the artist performed an act which she presents as a civic contribution in support of community initiatives and local development. Lilika stated that this gesture is part of the national mobilization effort for the construction of the country. "We are responding to the call of our comrade President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore, for the building of our homeland," she said.

The artist also explained that this contribution aims to encourage other cultural actors to become more involved in development initiatives. "This is to encourage all artists in the Dj´r´ region and the diaspora to do the same, because it is hand in hand that we can build our dear and beautiful country, Burkina Faso," she added. She also launched a general mobilization appeal to the sons and daughters of Dj´r´ in particular and to all Burkinab¨ to support development actions undertaken at the local level.

For the chairman of the Faso Mªbo reception committee, Siaka Ouattara, this donation represents a valuable contribution to the structure and reflects the artist's commitment beyond the music scene. "We congratulate and thank her for responding to the call of His Excellency the President of Faso. This donation will allow us to produce more paving stones and beautify our city," he said, before inviting other artists to follow this example.

After the donation was handed over, the artist Lilika and members of her team also participated in making paving stones alongside the volunteers. Through this symbolic gesture, the artist reaffirmed her civic commitment and her dedication to local initiatives aimed at promoting development and community solidarity in Burkina Faso.
