Municipal Excellence Celebrated at Loumana Primary School: Recognition for 34 Education Stakeholders

Leraba: Adama Sawadogo, President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of Loumana municipality, presided over the 2025 edition of the Municipal Excellence Day at the primary school in Loumana, a rural municipality located 30 km south of Sindou, on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The achievements of 34 individuals were recognized.

According to Burkina Information Agency, education stakeholders, including 24 students, 9 teachers, and 1 office inspector, received awards. The awards included bags with school supplies, and the 5 best students each received a bicycle. Certificates of merit and two tablets were awarded to the two best teachers in the Basic Education District (CEB) of Loumana.

The event, organized by the CEB of Loumana under the leadership of Karim SiribiE, aimed to promote education and honor the merit of education actors in Loumana. With a success rate of 86.62% in the 2025 CEP session, CCEB SiribiE emphasized the need for continued efforts to surpass this record in the 2026 session.

Karim SiribiE encouraged all involved to intensify their efforts for the upcoming session. Meanwhile, Zani Coulibaly, representative of the provincial director in charge of Primary Education of Leraba, expressed satisfaction with the CEB of Loumana's achievements and the efforts to elevate the image of education actors in this region of Burkina Faso. Coulibaly congratulated the winners and encouraged perseverance to maintain their exemplary performance.

Adama Sawadogo, President of the special delegation for Loumana, congratulated the most deserving individuals and urged other students to follow their example, emphasizing that excellence should be a continuous pursuit.
