Muharukua Urges Outjo Youth to Utilize National Youth Development Fund

Outjo: Kunene Region Governor, Vipuakuje Muharukua, on Monday called on Outjo youth to capitalise on the governmental development agenda for the youth. Muharukua made these remarks during an information session on the National Youth Development Fund held at Etoshapoort Community Hall in Outjo.

According to Namibia Press Agency, Muharukua stressed the importance of young people taking initiative to become businesspeople by applying for government opportunities. He highlighted the inclusivity of the National Youth Development Fund, urging all races, including Afrikaans community farmers, to apply and collaborate on business ideas for Kunene's economic development.

Muharukua encouraged the youth to generate innovative business ideas worthy of funding, advocating for collaboration among individuals with similar business aspirations. He announced monthly engagements between the governor's office, the regional councillor's office, and the youth for improved coordination.

Representatives from the Ministry of Finance were also present, providing detailed presentations of the National Youth Development Fund application process and requirements.
