MTC Selects Panel of Judges for Upcoming Excellence Awards

Windhoek: Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) on Tuesday announced that the MTC Branding and Marketing Indaba has selected six judges for the excellence awards. The panel includes public relations consultant and mentor Talitha Jario, strategic communications consultant Ashton Dube, public speaker and QoS Media House founder Josy Nghipandua, communications specialist and media personality Roux-ch© Locke, Namibia Media Monitoring managing director Natasja Beyleveld, and award-winning novelist and Stratosphere Advisors executive director Femi Kayode.

According to Namibia Press Agency, MTC in a media statement highlighted that the judging panel comprises industry professionals bringing years of experience in the branding, marketing, advertising, events management, public relations, and communications space. MTC Chief Brand, Marketing, Communications and Sustainability Officer, Tim Ekandjo, emphasized that the appointment of an independent judging panel is essential to ensuring credibility, transparency, and fairness in the adjudication process.

Ekandjo stated, "The judges will thus draw on their extensive professional experience and industry knowledge to rigorously and with transparency evaluate submissions based on the quality of work presented, supporting evidence, strategic intent, execution, and measurable impact."

The company announced last Monday that they have introduced 18 excellence award categories that will recognize and celebrate excellence and innovation across the areas of branding, marketing, communications, and advertising. The 2026 MTC Branding and Marketing Excellence Awards ceremony will be held during the MTC Branding and Marketing Indaba Gala Dinner on 10 April 2026 in Windhoek, where outstanding achievements in Namibia's branding and marketing sector will be recognized.
