Mouhoun School Exams: Candidates Urged to Show Discipline Throughout the Tests


Mouhoun: The Secretary General of the Boucle du Mouhoun region, Adjara Sandrine Kient©ga/Ou©draogo, urged candidates for the BEPC, BEP, and CAP exams in D©dougou to demonstrate discipline, integrity, and honesty throughout the written tests. A total of 6,107 candidates, including 3,470 girls, are participating in these secondary school exams.



According to Burkina Information Agency, this Tuesday, June 3, 2025, marks the start of the school exams for the First Cycle Studies Certificate (BEPC), the Professional Studies Certificate (BEP), and the Professional Aptitude Certificate (CAP) for the 2025 session in Burkina Faso. In the province of Mouhoun, 5,532 candidates, including 3,295 girls, are taking the BEPC across 21 juries and 31 secondary centers. For the BEP and CAP exams, 575 candidates, including 175 girls, are participating in 4 juries.



The official launch of the exams took place at the private technical high school Bethel in D©dougou, which serves as an examination center for both technical and general education. Authorities visited some exam rooms to encourage the candidates.



Adjara Sandrine Kient©ga/Ou©draogo encouraged candidates to avoid stress and remain calm, urging them to give their best by demonstrating discipline, honesty, and integrity during the exams. She assured candidates that success would come with confidence and focus. She also wished all candidates success and reminded them that these exams are an assessment of their learning.



The Secretary General paid tribute to the fighting forces mobilized to secure the examinations in the region. The Regional Director of Secondary Education and Vocational and Technical Training, Raoul Sanon, emphasized the measures taken to ensure smooth exams in terms of security, logistics, and stakeholder mobilization.



Amidst the region’s challenging security situation, the combat forces provided crucial support for equipment deployment and test distribution. Sanon praised the administrative authorities and the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) for their efforts in ensuring the smooth conduct of the exams.
