Mouhoun/Raising the Colors in Schools: The Safan Communal CEG Hosts the Event

Safan: The municipality of Safan proceeded, on Monday, December 1, 2025, to the relaunch of the rotating ceremonies of the raising of the colors in schools. The first stage of this civic initiative was held at the municipal College of General Education (CEG), under the chairmanship of the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Safan, Ali Traor. On this day, the municipal College of General Education (CEG) welcomed the raising of the colors.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the commune of Safan, Ali Traor, expressed his gratitude to the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) for their high sense of duty, stressing that their constant commitment constitutes an essential foundation for the tranquility of the populations. He also praised the dedication of the teaching staff and the involvement of the technical services, whose combined efforts contribute to the smooth running of the municipality.

Addressing educational issues, the administrative authority recalled the implementation of the vocational initiation program in educational institutions, a device aimed at equipping learners with practical skills useful for working life. He also drew attention to the note of the governor of the Bankui region, relating to the regulation of noise pollution, now restricted to 10 p.m., in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 2013-06/AN on the environmental code. "Anyone who goes against this note will be arrested and their equipment seized," he warned.

On the administrative level, the PDS announced the holding of the mobile clinic tour on December 3 and 4. This health operation, dedicated to women and girls, will take place at the CSPS of Banou and then at the Medical Center with Surgical Antenna (CMA) of Safan. In addition, he invited school principals to strengthen coordination in the process of establishing Burkinabe National Identity Cards (CNIB), in order to prevent unjustified absences in class.

The ceremony brought together the military and paramilitary authorities, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), the heads of departmental services, the customary authorities as well as the educational community of the communal CEG.
