Mouhoun: The High Commissioner of Mouhoun Province, Bassoulemane Ouattara, officially installed Wind-Nongmaneguer© Yam©ogo as the new Provincial Director of Sports, Youth, and Employment in D©dougou. He called for coordinated action from all stakeholders involved in promoting sports, youth development, and employment in the province.
According to Burkina Information Agency, this appointment follows the ministerial reshuffle of January 12, 2026, which ratified the merger of the departments in charge of sports and leisure with that of youth and employment. The new director, Wind-Nongmaneguer© Yam©ogo, succeeds Fouss©ni Par©, who has been called to other duties.
On behalf of the staff, their representative praised the achievements made under the leadership of the outgoing manager, while reaffirming the commitment of the staff to support the new director in carrying out his duties. Fouss©ni Par© presented the results of his time at the head of the provincial directorate, before expressing his gratitude to the administrative authorities and his colleagues for their constant support.
Mr. Yam©ogo expressed his deep gratitude to the authorities for the trust placed in him. He also invited all stakeholders to join forces to address the challenges related to promoting sport, youth development, and employment in the province.
The High Commissioner of the Mouhoun province, Bassoulemane Ouattara, congratulated the incoming director, while paying tribute to his predecessor for the services rendered. He also invited the new leader to base his actions on a dynamic focused on cohesion, efficiency, and achieving concrete results for the benefit of the population.
The ceremony ended in a friendly atmosphere, full of hope for a new impetus in the implementation of public policies in sports, youth, and employment in the province of Mouhoun, given the strong mobilization of stakeholders who came to support the outgoing and incoming officials. Wind-Nongmaneguer© Yam©ogo already held the position of provincial director of sports and recreation of Mouhoun and also oversees several sports clubs in the city of D©dougou.
