Mouhoun: The President of the Special Delegation (PDS) of the Bondoukuy municipality, Lazare Bado, concluded his tour of the recently resettled villages on Saturday, January 17, 2026. This tour focused on social cohesion, solidarity, and living together.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the aim of this initiative was to demonstrate the availability and commitment of the municipal authority to support these hard-hit but resilient populations in their resettlement process. At each stage of his tour, Lazare Bado delivered a strong message focused on social cohesion and living together, in line with the guidelines of the highest authorities in the country.
He also invited the people to remain essential actors in the implementation of the actions of the progressive and popular revolution within their respective localities, while reaffirming the importance of national unity and social cohesion in the process of stabilization and progress of Burkina Faso.
Taking advantage of the opportunity for direct dialogue with the communities, the PDS commended the bravery, courage, and resilience of the people in each village since their return, urging them to maintain this spirit of solidarity and collective responsibility. The residents of the villages of Moukouna, Bou©nivouhoun, Bladi, Bolomakot©, Zanzaka, Hit©, Gargabouli, Koumana, and Di©kuy mobilized in large numbers to give the delegation a warm welcome, thus demonstrating their commitment to the ideals of peace, solidarity, and local development.
At the end of this tour, the municipal authorities and the people reaffirmed their common desire to consolidate the bonds of trust and cooperation, guarantees of harmonious coexistence and sustainable development of the municipality of Bondoukuy.
