According to Burkina Information Agency, Commissioner Sidibe reported encouraging results throughout the year, including a notable decrease in crime in the region. These achievements are attributed to targeted operations, increased police presence in sensitive areas, and improved coordination among units.

The regional director reassured the public that preventive and corrective measures are underway to provide appropriate responses to security challenges. During the year, the national police of Bankui and Sourou issued 87,544 Burkinabe national identity cards and 95,704 legalizations, conducted 221 operations to control establishments serving alcoholic beverages, and checked over 1.4 million people and nearly 300,000 vehicles. Financial mobilization efforts resulted in the collection of over 66 million CFA francs from fixed fines and over 33 million CFA francs from stamps.

As part of the fight against drugs, 29 awareness sessions were conducted in secondary schools, leading to the seizure of significant quantities of illicit substances and products.

Public safety efforts included numerous patrols and security missions, with police units participating in reconquest operations to secure localities and protect agricultural activities. As the end-of-year celebrations approach, Commissioner Sidibe announced the deployment of specialized units and intensified patrols under Operation "Wibga," emphasizing the importance of public cooperation and collective vigilance.

To further bolster security, the regional director announced the forthcoming establishment of an Anti-Crime Brigade in Dedougou and a Republican Security Company in Tougan.
