Mouhoun: The results for the first round of the 2025 baccalaureate exams have been announced in the Mouhoun province, revealing a success rate of 39.18%.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the province’s 13 juries registered a total of 3,192 candidates, with 3,109 sitting for the exams. Of these, 1,218 candidates were declared successful in the first round, with 660 girls and 558 boys passing. This represents a success rate of 39.12% for the province, with girls achieving a higher rate of 39.76% compared to boys at 38.51%.
A total of 881 candidates have been authorized to proceed to the second round, comprising 482 girls and 399 boys. Observations indicate more admissions in the literary series compared to the scientific series. In the technical series, motor vehicle maintenance saw a pass rate of 97.44%, electrical engineering 86.96%, and agri-food 87.88%. Results for Series C were still pending at the time of reporting.
