Bittou: A motorcyclist was killed in Mogandé after colliding with a broken-down tricycle on the Bittou-Cinkansé road. The accident took place late Tuesday night, resulting in the rider's immediate death at the scene. According to Burkina Information Agency, the incident occurred approximately 10 kilometers from Bittou on the RN16 highway. The tricycle was reportedly parked in the middle of the road without any warning signs to alert oncoming traffic. It had been returning from Cinkansé and was heavily loaded with goods when the motorcyclist, riding a scooter, crashed into its rear around 8 p.m. The Bittou brigade's territorial gendarmerie conducted the accident report. The motorcyclist's body was subsequently laid to rest in the main cemetery of Bittou in sector 4. Authorities are still searching for the tricycle's driver, who remains unaccounted for following the incident.
