Ghor Province: At least two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in a motorcycle crash in western Afghanistan’s Ghor province. The state-run Bakhtar news agency reported the incident on Sunday.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the accident took place in Firoz Koah city, the capital of the province. It resulted in two deaths at the scene, while the two injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a local health center.

Fatal road accidents occur frequently in Afghanistan. Factors such as poor road conditions, reckless driving, rugged terrains, overloading, and inadequate traffic signs on deteriorating highways contribute to the high incidence of such accidents.
