This was announced by an official from the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce during an interaction with the AIB.

According to Burkina Information Agency, several investment opportunities exist in Morocco, and the Kingdom is committed to assisting Burkinabe and African students who complete their training in the country. The President of the Partnership and International Cooperation Committee at the Casa-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services, Benzouina Brahim, emphasized that these young individuals have the same rights and opportunities as their Moroccan counterparts to start their own businesses or join existing Moroccan companies.

Data from the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation indicates that during the 2022-2023 academic year, Gabon had the largest number of students in Morocco, followed by Mali and Ivory Coast, with Burkina Faso ranking ninth.

The Honorable Benzouina highlighted the vast entrepreneurial opportunities in sectors such as industry and artificial intelligence, which are accessible to Moroccan, Burkinabe, African youth, and global investors. He reiterated the Chamber of Commerce’s commitment to supporting these young individuals in their entrepreneurial endeavors, helping them realize their dreams and manage their businesses effectively.

Benzouina noted that there are numerous success stories of young people in Morocco who have thrived professionally by either joining companies or establishing their own ventures. Many are involved in trading, commerce, and import-export sectors.

Benzouina also announced a new project by the Moroccan Chamber of Commerce to create a Union of Chambers of Commerce of the Sahel countries, headquartered in Casablanca. This initiative aims to enhance trade, investment, and idea exchange among member countries.

Expressing gratitude for the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Benzouina urged Burkinabe and African students and workers in Morocco to feel at home, stressing they are part of the Moroccan family.

In addition to his role in the Chamber of Commerce, Benzouina is involved in training sub-Saharan students in water rescue, collaborating with African diplomats, including the Burkinabe Ambassador Mamadou Coulibaly, to implement various projects.
