Rabat: Morocco has witnessed the formation of the Association Rencontre des Cultures Africaines (ARCA), a new organization committed to advocating for the rights of sub-Saharan migrants within the country.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the initiative was spearheaded by Amina Kerzabi Haidara, a Moroccan citizen and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire in Agadir. ARCA, which has been operational since 2021, specifically targets support towards vulnerable groups among the migrant population, such as women and children.
The association's mission extends to fostering the training and education of migrants, thereby facilitating their integration and highlighting the positive impact of migration on Morocco's development. ARCA is headquartered in Rabat and seeks to establish itself as a dependable institutional framework. It aims to collaborate with public authorities, national organizations, and international partners involved in migration governance.
