Morocco/earthquake: ‘312 foreign journalists covered Al Haouz and the administrative refoulement of the two French nationals is a legal consequence of the violence of the law’ (minister)

No fewer than 312 foreign journalists covered the Al Haouz earthquake and the administrative refoulement of the two French nationals is a legal consequence of the violation of the law, the minister said on Thursday delegate responsible for relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas.

‘The two repressed French nationals did not request any authorization for the coverage of the Al Haouz earthquake,’ Mr. Baitas underlined during a press briefing after the government council, specifying that they entered in Morocco for tourism.

In this sense, the minister indicated that it is normal for them to be subject to administrative refoulement by decision of the competent authorities who have, in this regard, applied the provisions of the law in this matter.

Mr. Baitas also indicated that no less than 312 foreign journalists, representing 90 media outlets, participated in the coverage of this earthquake, stressing that they worked in a climate of freedom and transparency in all regions. affec
