Ouagadougou—The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, Youssef Slaoui, received the Organizing Committee of the Faso Music Awards (FAMA) on Wednesday. The meeting was held in anticipation of the 11th edition of the awards, scheduled to take place in Ouagadougou from May 29 to 31, 2024, under the theme “Cultural Diversity and Integration of Peoples in Africa.”

According to Burkina Information Agency, Ambassador Youssef Slaoui reaffirmed his support for the cultural and artistic activities of the FAMA Organizing Committee, expressing his wishes for the success of this year’s edition. The Faso Music Awards is an important annual cultural event dedicated to Burkinabè music, recognizing and awarding professionals in the cultural sector. The event benefits from the continued support of the Moroccan Embassy.
