More Than 900 Candidates Undertake BEPC and CEP 2026 Exams in Boura

Sissili: More than 900 candidates commenced their written examinations for the Junior High School Certificate (BEPC) and the Primary School Certificate (CEP) for the 2026 session in the commune of Boura. A total of 976 candidates are participating in these exams under a calm and strictly regulated atmosphere.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the Brevet d'©tudes du premier cycle (BEPC) is being conducted at the Lyc©e d©partemental de Boura, hosting the single jury Boura 1. The jury president, G©d©on Bazi©, noted that 308 candidates are distributed across five secondary centers. The department's prefect, Judith Diasso/Kanyala, officially opened the first envelope of subjects after visiting the five examination rooms at the departmental high school alongside departmental service heads.

The administrative authority, Ms. Diasso/Kanyala, emphasized the importance of concentration and advised candidates to remain calm and confident, assuring them that the exam questions would cover only the material learned during the school year. She urged them to avoid any attempts at cheating and commended educators' efforts while encouraging parents to continue their support to achieve a satisfactory success rate.

In the primary education sector, the Boura Basic Education District (CEB) registered 668 candidates for the CEP and the entrance exam to 6th grade. These candidates are distributed across 15 classrooms in five examination centers, all overseen by a single jury. The examination was launched at the El Hadj Ibrahim Kama Nadie Public Primary School by Yao Philippe Yaldia, First Vice-President of the Special Delegation of the Boura Municipality, in the presence of delegation members. Simultaneously, Judith Diasso/Kanyala conducted the same exercise at the departmental high school.

Mr. Yaldia offered valuable advice to the young candidates and expressed gratitude on behalf of the municipal authorities to all contributors to the education system for their efforts in organizing the exam. This sentiment was echoed by Issoufou Gandema, Head of the Boura CEB and session coordinator, who thanked the municipal authorities for their ongoing support. He urged supervisors and invigilators to strictly adhere to regulations and encouraged candidates to have confidence in their abilities.

The official delegations overseeing the examination launch expressed hope that the CEB of Boura would achieve one of the region's best success rates by the end of the 2026 session.
