Kourittenga: More than 500 entrepreneurs participated in the Entrepreneurship Promotion Days in Tenkodogo, an event initiated by Enabel and launched by Sayouba Sawadogo, Secretary General of the Nakambe region, representing the governor. The event took place on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in the presence of the program manager of Enabel in Burkina Faso and the first vice-president of the special delegation of the commune of Tenkodogo.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Julie Van Der Smissen, Enabel's Programme Manager in Burkina Faso, stated that the Connect'Finance event aims to transform ideas into reality, boost businesses, and create connections between entrepreneurs, microfinance institutions, and potential investors. She added that these promotional days serve as an opportunity for the Innovation Centre and other structures to demonstrate the type of coaching available to both emerging idea bearers and established entrepreneurs, aiding them in the growth of their entrepreneurial projects.

The event also provided a platform for women entrepreneurs from the Nakambe region, who have benefited from coaching and microfinance credits through Enabel, to share their experiences. Rosine Parkouda, a livestock entrepreneur from Koupela, emphasized the importance of coaching in management and guidelines for business success. She encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to take measured steps and maintain focus on their businesses.

Authorities were given a guided tour of the Innovation Centre, showcasing its potential frameworks and innovations. Dr. Soulama, president of the innovation center, expressed his satisfaction with the event, highlighting its role in showcasing initiatives, products, and innovations from the company and entrepreneurs supported by Centr'Innov.

Sayouba Sawadogo conveyed gratitude to Enabel for its efforts benefiting the community and urged participants to leverage the master classes, panels, and conferences to gain insights and enhance their skills. Enabel, the Belgian Agency for International Cooperation, aims to strengthen socio-economic resilience, access to basic social services, and social cohesion, particularly among women, youth, and marginalized populations in Burkina Faso.
