Ouagadougou: The Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, Pingdwend© Gilbert OUEDRAOGO, alongside the Minister in charge of Urban Planning, Mikalou SIDIB‚¬°, participated in the monthly flag-raising ceremony at the administrative hotel of the Center. The ceremony took place on Monday, June 2, 2025, and featured a message delivered by the Government Spokesperson.
According to Burkina Information Agency, Minister OUEDRAOGO began his address by honoring the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP). He highlighted the importance of continuously acknowledging their efforts, which ensure the resilience and stability of Burkina Faso.
Minister Pingdwend© also emphasized the significance of the flag-raising ceremony as a moment for citizens to reaffirm their national pride. He called for a commitment to patriotism, citing the example of Tinkuilga NANA, who demonstrated dedication by traveling from Sapon© to Lyc©e Philippe ZINDA in Ouagadougou with a bag of cement for Faso MEEBO.
