Minister Somda Urges Diébougou Youth to Embrace Integrity and Competence, Echoing President Traoré’s Call

DIÉBOUGOU — During a government visit to Diébougou on August 29, Minister Roland Anûuyirtole Somda, in charge of Youth, relayed a stern message from President Ibrahim Traoré to the local youth, advocating for the rejection of cowardice, treachery, and incompetence.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the president's message, originally delivered on International Youth Day on August 9, was intended to inspire young people across Burkina Faso and Africa to adopt virtues that contribute to national development. Somda emphasized that a youth devoid of such vices is crucial for spearheading the country's advancement.

The call from President Traoré highlights the administration's focus on cultivating a responsible and capable young generation to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for Burkina Faso.
