Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will travel to Moscow tomorrow, Friday, February 18, where he will hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.
Following the private meeting between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs, expanded talks will take place.
Afterwards, there will be joint statements to the press (at approximately 13:00, local time) followed by a working lunch.
Talks are expected to focus on security in Europe, the situation in Eastern Europe, as well as on the Eastern Mediterranean.
Also, in the context of long-standing historical ties between the two countries, bilateral cooperation will be examined.
It is noted that this will be the third visit by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to the Russian Federation in the last two years.
