Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to visit Poland (Warsaw, 05.10.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias will travel to Warsaw tomorrow, Wednesday 5 October, where he will meet with senior Polish officials and participate in the “Warsaw Security Forum”.

First, the Minister will meet with the Speaker of the Lower House (Sejm) of the Polish Parliament, Elzbieta Witek.

Afterwards, Mr. Dendias will participate in the Warsaw Security Forum, in particular in the panel discussion “The Resilient Future Europe: What kind of EU in Response to the Global Challenges”.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will then have a one-on-one meeting with the Polish Foreign Minister, Zbigniew Rau, followed by a working lunch.

Joint statements to the press will take place at approximately 17:50 (Greek time).

During the above-mentioned meetings, talks will focus on issues of bilateral and regional interest, such as the Russian invasion of Ukraine, developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the situation in Libya, energy, as well as on cooperation within the EU and NATO.
