Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias, accompanied by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for Economic Diplomacy Kostas Fragogiannis, will travel to Skopje tomorrow, August 31, at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani.
After the meeting of the two Foreign Ministers, statements are expected to follow at about 11:45 Greek time.
Afterwards, the Minister will hold successive meetings with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Nikola Dimitrov, President of the Assembly Talat Xhaferi and the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski.
During the meetings, bilateral relations in all fields, including the economy and energy, as well as the country’s European perspective are expected to be discussed.
In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will raise the issue of the full, consistent and in good faith implementation of the Prespa Agreement with the aforementioned officials.
Developments in the Western Balkans and the wider region will also be examined.
