Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias to participate in the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) (Luxembourg, 17.10.2022)

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias will travel to Luxembourg tomorrow, Monday, October 17, 2022, to participate in the Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) of the European Union (EU).

Russian aggression against Ukraine, and EU-China relations are the topics on the agenda.

Under “Current Affairs”, the Foreign Ministers will exchange views on current global and regional developments, including developments in Ethiopia, Iran and Lebanon, as well as on issues related to the 27th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) to be held in Egypt in November.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs will brief his counterparts on the recent signing of the illegal, null and void “Memorandum of Understanding” between the Government of National Unity (GNU) of Libya and Turkey.
