Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will travel tomorrow, Monday, February 21, 2022, to Brussels, where he will participate in the EU Council of Foreign Affairs (FAC).
In the morning, an exchange of views between the EU Foreign Affairs Ministers and their Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba will be held.
Afterwards, the EU Foreign Affairs Ministers are expected to discuss the FAC agenda, which includes security situation in Europe and Belarus, Climate Diplomacy and the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Under “Current Affairs”, latest international developments, including those in Mali, are expected to be examined.
Ministers will also run the “CYCLES” cyber-exercise. The discussion in the FAC- in a simulation environment – constitutes the last stage of this exercise.
Finally, on the sidelines of the FAC, EU Foreign Affairs Ministers will meet with their counterparts from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
