Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will travel to Berlin tomorrow, October 21, 2022, where he will participate in the Berlin Process Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on the Western Balkans.

The Meeting is hosted this year by the German Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, and will take place on the premises of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The Berlin Process is an intergovernmental cooperation initiative launched in 2014 and aims to strengthen regional cooperation in the Western Balkans and assist their European perspective, with an emphasis on economic development and reforms.

During tomorrow’s Ministerial Meeting, talks are expected to focus, inter alia, on issues related to energy, climate change, reconciliation initiatives, and youth.

On the sidelines of the Meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is expected to hold a meeting with his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock.
