Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Athens, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Sameh Shoukry, in the context of the latter’s visit to Greece.

The two Ministers will have a one-on-one meeting at approximately 14.15, followed by expanded talks between the two delegations.

Joint statements to the press will take place at approximately 15.30.

Discussions are expected to focus on further strengthening the two countries’ strategic relations in a wide range of areas such as the economy, investments, energy, and climate change mitigation.

Furthermore, they are expected to cover international and regional developments of mutual interest, including developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, Libya, and the Middle East, as well as European Union – Egypt relations and regional cooperation schemes.
