Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, will hold a meeting in Athens tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15, 2023, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, in the context of the latter’s visit to Greece.
The two Ministers of Foreign Affairs will have a one-on-one meeting at approximately 12:00, followed by expanded talks.
The signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Diplomatic Training will follow.
The two Foreign Ministers are scheduled to make joint statements to the press at approximately 13:20.
Afterwards, a working lunch will take place.
Talks are expected to focus on enhancing bilateral relations in a wide range of areas, such as economy, trade, tourism and culture, as well as on cooperation between the two countries within international organizations. Furthermore, discussions are also expected to cover international and regional issues, including the situation in Ukraine following the Russian invasion, as well as developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Caucasus region.
