Balé: The living forces make their contributions to the reforms proposed by the transition

The living forces of the Balé province in the Boucle du Mouhoun region made their contributions to the reforms proposed by the transition during the provincial consultation days held in Boromo from 9 to June 10. The meeting was specified by the High Commissioner, Ibrahim BOLY.

The living forces of the Balé province proposed three new reforms, ”deemed relevant” by the participants, at the provincial consultation days.

This is a formal statute on traditional and customary notability, the creation of a vehicle fleet at the decentralized level and the creation of administrative hotels in the provinces.

On the whole, all the points submitted to the agenda met with a consensus despite some divergences during the work in the workshop.

According to the High Commissioner, Ibrahim BOLY, the participants appreciated and formulated expectations on the 21 reforms proposed by the State.

For Mr. BOLY, the notable points of contention were the revision of the constitution and the reforms relating to political parties. On these points, “the debates have been stormy”, he underlined.

However, he was delighted with the strong mobilization of the living forces, the interest shown by them for the life of the nation and their contributions during the exchanges.

The summary of the work will be sent to the regional level for the regional consultation days. The province of Balé has also chosen its representatives for these regional consultations.
