Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias will travel to Croatia tomorrow, July 9, 2022, to participate in the “Dubrovnik Forum” international conference themed “A quest for balance in a world disrupted”.
The Minister will participate in the panel discussion “Predictability: high in demand, low in supply” (09:45 – 11:00). The panel will also include, among others, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of Croatia, Davor Božinović, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Pekka Haavisto.
On the sidelines of the conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs is scheduled to meet with the Secretary General of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), Nasser Kamel. The discussion is expected to focus on regional cooperation and human development in the Mediterranean, as well as on addressing the consequences of climate change and pollution in the region.
The “Dubrovnik Forum” conference is organized annually in the above-mentioned city by the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and hosts discussions of Ministers and high-ranking officials from all over the world on major issues of the international agenda.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also attended the “Dubrovnik Forum” international conference held last year (9 – 10 July 2021).
