I am in Łódź, Poland, today, for the OSCE Ministerial Council. We had the opportunity to examine the security environment, both in a Euro-Atlantic and a Euro-Asian context. This, after all, is the defining, differentiating element of this Organization.

Aside from that, I had four bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Azerbaijan and of two Central Asian countries, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, countries with which Greece does not have particularly frequent contacts, although we are linked to them by the long tradition of Alexander the Great.

The common denominator of all my statements, both at the Ministerial Council and in bilateral contacts, was the firm principles of Greek foreign policy: Adherence to International Law, respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all states, and, above all, the condemnation of all revisionism no matter where it comes from.
