I had the opportunity today, here in Dubrovnik, to meet with my colleagues from almost all the Western Balkan countries and to discuss, first of all, their European perspective, but also the risks from harmful attempts by third countries to exert influence on the affairs of the Western Balkans.
Furthermore, I had the opportunity to discuss with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia the implementation issues of the Prespa Agreement and to emphasize the need for its faithful application, especially with respect to issues related to the name of North Macedonia.
Finally, I met with my European Union counterparts who were here, the Maltese Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs, and of course we discussed ways to facilitate the accession perspective of the Western Balkans.
