FADA N'GOURMA - Rimtalba Jean-Emmanuel Ouédraogo, Minister of Communication, Culture, Arts and Tourism, engaged with staff from the decentralized services of his department on Friday, coinciding with the inauguration of projects under the Emergency Project for Territorial Development and Resilience (PUDTR).
According to Burkina Information Agency, the Eastern Regional Director of Culture, the visit marked the Minister's first direct interaction with the decentralized units in the region, underscoring his commitment to understanding and addressing their challenges. The meeting took place at a pivotal time as the Minister also attended the inauguration of critical infrastructure projects aimed at boosting regional development and resilience.
The visit, although brief, was a significant gesture of support for the staff of the three eastern regional directorates, which include Culture, Communication, and RTB2 Fada N'Gourma. The Minister, accompanied by his counterpart from National Education, expressed his appreciation for the resilience and dedication shown by the regional teams.
While there was limited time for staff to present their grievances, Minister Ouédraogo promised to return for a more in-depth discussion to better address their needs and facilitate smoother operations within these critical governmental sectors.
