Minister of Tourism, Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane, will host a media briefing to provide an update on the Tourism Equity Fund.

The Fund was launched at the beginning of 2021 to drive transformation in tourism and to facilitate sector recovery during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following a High Court interdict in April, the processing and payment of the Tourism Equity Fund was halted.
