Minister Kassoum Coulibaly Calls for Unity During Tabaski Prayers in Ouagadougou

OUAGADOUGOU — During the Tabaski prayer on Sunday at the Place de Nation, the Minister of State in charge of defense, Kassoum Coulibaly, urged the Burkinabè people to unite for the restoration of peace in Burkina Faso.

According to Burkina Information Agency, it is essential for everyone to set aside personal grievances and work together for the national interest, particularly in the current security crisis. “Let’s drop all hatred between us. Let us join hands so that our country can emerge from this difficult situation,” he stated in his address to the nation on June 16.

The government official also took the opportunity to extend holiday greetings to the Muslim community, acknowledging their consistent responses to calls for solidarity amidst ongoing challenges.
